Head of Facilities Management

Job Description

  • Responsible for Facilities Management Department in ensuring that all engineering facilities and building services are maintained in good working order and are operated in safe environment.
  • Oversee all facilities and refurbishment projects of the hospital.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable statutory and legal requirements relating to building facilities and plant equipment.
  • Provide technical advice and appraise on new and existing installations, equipment, systems, fittings and other related tasks as assigned.
  • Troubleshot and assess the condition of hospital building and facilities and take appropriate action.
  • Implement internal controls and ensure compliance to policies and procedures, local and international quality standards.
  • Prepare tender documents, evaluates and recommends the selection of the vendor in accordance with procurement/financial policies and procedures.
  • Justify and prepare proposals for capital expenditure and follow-through till project completion.
  • Manage and oversee upgrading, refurbishment and renovation projects are carried out in accordance with strict safety and environmental policies and procedures by the authorities and all parties involved.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
  • Manages a team and leading them to achieve the ultimate goals for the Hospital.
  • Determine strategies and policies for improved quality and accelerated performance improvement.


Job Requirements 

  • Master/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Possess of BO Chargeman Certificate is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilities management and engineering, preferably with multiple experience/discipline in related industry
  • Professional and positive approach, dynamic and trustworthy strategic thinker who is personable, matured, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative and consistently portrays a professional approach when carrying out duties.
  • Exercises a high degree of tact and diplomacy and integrity.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization both internal and external.
  • Business related computer skills including knowledge with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Assistant Manager, Marketing

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • The Assistant Manager (Unit Head), Marketing will assist in developing marketing plans to support growth based on marketing strategies defined at hospital level.
  • Lead and guide the Marketing team in the implementation of Marketing initiatives and activities for this hospital to meet operational KPIs.
  • Plan & execute events / activities with Marketing team to ensure promotion of in-house doctors, hospital facilities and services to external hospitals, doctors, corporations, insurances and public.
  • Work together with other departments of this hospital to achieve KPIs set and promote hospital facilities and services.
  • Work together with RSDH Group Branding & Communications to increase brand awareness for this hospital and its doctors.
  • Produce marketing collaterals for this hospital to support marketing initiatives for this hospital.
  • Support the Corporate Revenue team in improving collection.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication or Marketing is preferred.
  • 5 years or more experience in area of expertise.
  • Excellent PR and communication skills.
  • Must be able to write independently.
  • 2 years supervisory experience.

State Registered Nurse

Job Responsibilities

  • The main front liner who renders nursing care to patients within the hospital.
  • Plans and executes Nursing Care for her patients with team members according to individual Patient’s needs.
  • Responsible for providing nursing leadership and is accountable for the coordination of clinical activities.
  • Makes professional judgment and decisions about nursing care.
  • Carries out specialists order in accordance to established standards of nursing practices, policies and procedures

DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL SERVICES

Job Requirement : 

  • A medical degree from a recognized university and registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC). A Masters in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or any other post-graduate degree, is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical practice with at least 1 – 2 years of administrative experience.


Job responsibilities :

  • Person-In-Charge for ADMC under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act with responsibilities as outlined in the Act. Refer to Private Healthcare Facilities & Services Act 1998, (Act 586) regulations 2006 -
  • [Part III - Organisation & management of private healthcare facilities & services, item(12) & (13) - p.g. 217]
  • He / She provides oversight for the ongoing development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures in ADMC within the clinical governance framework of the hospital.
  • A key member of the ADMC Senior Management Team, he / she works together with the Group Clinical Governance Team to ensure that ADMC continually has a robust system for the delivery of quality care to the patients.
  • The Person-In-Charge is responsible for the efficient management of the financial resources of the facility, working hand in hand with Hospital CEO & SMT of ADMC. Unit Head - Laboratory

Job Requirement : 

  • Degree in MLT / Biomedicine or its equivalent.
  • Must possess a comprehensive overall understanding of Medical Technology and how it relates to the hospital as a whole.
  • Must also be able to direct their work so that the laboratory is operated smoothly.
  • Previous supervisory experience in all disciplines of the laboratory as the Assistant Manager or similar position.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory position.
  • Management experience for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to work under a certain amount of stress and be able to handle a variety of demanding situations daily.
  • Have the ability to exercise sound judgment when problems arise and recommend variable solutions.

Job responsibilities :

  • Timely review & ensure all policies, procedures and quality systems are consistent with current laboratory practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring the provision of accurate laboratory tests data and results in a timely manner to external Quality Assurance Programme.
  • Reviewing the results & feedback and implement corrective and preventive actions to address gaps identified.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of customers & operational needs, and recommend appropriate proposal to management for consideration.
  • Implement new test procedures approved by Laboratory Management.
  • Reviewing of contracts pertaining to laboratory purchases so that the laboratory receives quality service and supplies at minimal cost.
  • Preparing, reviewing and monitoring the department’s operational budget ensuring that each unit is operating within the limits of the relevant financial budgets, and at the same time recommending improvements opportunities for appropriate actions.
  • Preparing and monitoring the department’s capital budget ensuring all appropriate evaluations is performed - performs, tender protocols, evaluation of new equipment etc.
  • Communicate to Reference Business Management (RBM) and Marketing Departments, particularly on operation matter & processes, to ensure that the services are coordinated effectively and delivered according to service requirement.
