What causes squint eyes in adults or kids?

Most cases of strabismus are of unknown cause.
- Unequal pulling of muscles or paralysis of eye muscles. A child can be born with a squint.

Underlying refractive errors.
- Farsightedness (hyperopia) may cause inward turning.
