Paediatric Ophthalmology is a field of ophthalmology which deals with all eye conditions in children from birth onwards. The Paediatric Ophthalmologist is trained as an adult eye specialist who is additionally sub-specialised in children’s eyes.

Commonly known as Child Eye Specialist, this doctor can treat all types of vision and eye conditions for children and adults. Common eye issues amongst children today are vision, ocular conditions, squints, lazy eyes, cross eyes, uveitis and nystagmus.
