22nd Apr 2021, Wednesday – For the muslim brothers and sisters, bubur lambuk is a must have dish in the menu during the fasting month. It is considered a norm to have it. Program Bubur Lambuk 2021 Ara Damansara Medical Center, an initiative by the new CEO of ADMC Puan Miranda Harumal @ Nur Syahirah Abdullah was a good start up in engaging with its community and people around its neck of the woods.

This initiative was a communal event, planned and executed by the staff and Doctors of ADMC along with the CEO herself “ala ala gotong royong” in a big group which also helped in strengthen the “hubungan silaturahim” among employees and public.

The event started up with the preparation in the morning and followed by distribution in late noon. The bubur lambuk was prepared in the Hospital Kitchen and delivered to Cahaya Kasih Orphanage, Balai Polis, Balai Bomba, Masjid Sultan Abdul Aziz, Corporate Clients, and fellow patients.

“It’s a Muslim tradition to give it out to the community during Ramadan in all good will” shares Puan Marinda. “The bubur lambuk became the staple as it is easy to prepare while having all the nutritional values for your body. It also warms the soul after a whole day of fasting”.

Each pack of bubur lambuk was packed with a voucher where the public can enjoy up to 30% discount at Health Screening Center of ADMC when you pay using your debit or credit card. This initiative cum awareness was an important message to the public to take care of their health and loved one while we overcome the pandemic.
